This week, I went on Newsmax to debate Trump’s former deputy press secretary, Hogan Gidley, and push back on their blatant misrepresentation of Rep. Jasmine Crockett. They tried to claim she supports violent undocumented immigrants, but I was already familiar with the full clip they were twisting.
I made it clear she wasn’t defending criminals—she was saying we should use the legal tools we already have, not revive some ancient, extreme wartime law that bypasses due process. I did my best to fact-check in real time, call out the dishonesty, and remind viewers that everyone on U.S. soil, regardless of status, has constitutional rights.
