I Fought Against Trump's Disgusting Immigration Policy On Fox

Watch the entire segment ad-free on my substack

Good afternoon! I just wrapped up a segment on Fox 5’s The Lives On, where I joined to break down the immigration hypocrisy we're seeing from the Trump administration and its allies.

The topic? Kmar Abrego Garcia, Trump’s latest scapegoat in his ongoing attempt to muddy the waters around immigration and due process.

Let’s be clear: Trump, JD Vance, and El Salvador’s Bukele are playing a twisted game of heads-I-win, tails-you-lose when it comes to immigrants’ rights. They block habeas petitions before deportation claiming it's “too early,” then say it's “too late” once someone is deported. That’s not justice, that’s authoritarianism wrapped in legal technicalities.

I made this clear on-air:

“As a Democrat, I’ll say it: violent criminals should be deported. But we also believe in due process. What Trump and Bukele are doing right now isn’t about safety — it’s about political theater.”

We also talked about how Gen Z is wide awake right now.

From memes about rising prices (“my face when tariffs hit 30%”) to mass protests like the Hands Off rallies, young people aren’t just watching — we’re organizing, mobilizing, and shaping the narrative.

And that’s not a trend, it’s a movement.
